NTT Application Security, the New Name for WhiteHat Security

A world leader in application security, WhiteHat Security, has announced today its formal change of name into NTT Application Security. However, there will not be any change in ownership of the organization. Also the new name provides a nearer identity with the parent establishment of which it remains an independent, wholly-owned subsidiary. NTT Application Security will remain to be powered by cloud-based and award-winning application security platform of WhiteHat.

The change can be seen as the next step in progression after the acquisition of WhiteHat Security in July 2019 by NTT Security Corporation. The move strengthens the two security-focused concerns' purpose to connect a united strategy for serving its world-wide clienteles, associates and prospects with the most ground-breaking cybersecurity solutions in the global market. 

Along with the change in name, NTT Application Security will continue to bolster the organization's enterprise application security competences and will play an important role in NTT's combined platform strategy.

At Black Hat USA 2021, which is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas Aug, NTT Application Security will debut its new brand to professionals in the industry, prospects, and media.
