Archive360
Archive360™, the archiving and information management leader trusted by enterprises and government agencies worldwide, today announced its Archive360 Extend developer program, giving customers and partners access to the company’s unique APIs (application programming interfaces) so they can leverage the market-leading information governance capabilities of the Archive360 Open Archiving Platform, extending capabilities of customer in-house developed applications as well as third party applications. As the only true Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solution provider, Archive360 enables organizations to migrate and onboard massive volumes of data to the cloud, with full control over data security, privacy, access, and compliance. With Archive360 Extend, users can now benefit from one search to directly access, manage and extract relevant data from the Archive360 archive in the comfort and familiarity of their preferred applications, while professionals in the legal, IT and compliance units are assured that all data is being appropriately managed.

“Companies offering vital services such as eDiscovery, internal and external audits and core business applications are not in the business of archiving and managing information - that’s our specialty,” said Robert DeSteno, co-founder and CEO of Archive360. “In today’s operating environment, skilled professionals prioritize working from the applications they access daily. Archive360 now makes it possible for these users to access and leverage data in Archive360’s repository from those apps with one search - in most cases, they won’t even know where the data is, only that their access is fully authorized and secure. More than a dozen partners have already joined this program, and over the next few weeks we’ll be announcing key partnerships with specific companies. Archive360 Extend represents a new advance in archiving and information management, and we’re just getting started.”

The new program enables a seamless, secure and compliant connection between two complementary forces: the Archive360 information management platform’s ability to onboard, manage and store massive volumes of business data - including files, videos, audio, CRM, ERP, emails/electronic communication, social media and more - and companies specializing in complex disciplines such as eDiscovery and data analytics, serving business users who need immediate, authorized, and secure access to all relevant data resources without having to switch between applications.

Archive360 enables participating companies to promote their offerings to a much broader market, including large and heavily regulated enterprises with massive amounts of data that need to be retained and managed securely in compliance with internal and external mandates.

One Search User Access

Archive360 APIs enable end users, with one search, to quickly, easily, and cost-effectively access, review and act on data from any system across their organization. And while the company leads the market with a unified platform - massive data volumes offering enhanced flexibility for easy and secure access - its APIs also come with major advantages.

The collective benefits include:

  • One Search: Greater visibility into any data source connected to the Archive360 archive, and greater control over that data: how it’s processed, stored, protected and managed, with performance tailored to meet specific business needs
  • Scalability: Process and manage petabytes of data, rapidly, cost-effectively and dynamically scale horizontally and vertically to meet any workload
  • Security: True Zero Trust data security with unparalleled PII protection - even system administrators can’t access the data without explicit approval
  • Defensible Compliance: Ensuring data accuracy, compliance and reliability through immutable storage, data localization, and an audit trail to capture the complete chain of custody. Separate micro-APIs run in the right place across on-premises, in-country or overseas cloud infrastructures ensuring compliance with data localization requirements
  • Risk Management: eliminating redundant, obsolete and trivial (ROT) information; replacing legacy systems; and optimizing storage
  • Comprehensive Functionality: There’s one front-end API for ingestion, operations, monitoring, admin, records, discovery, machine learning and analytics, along with micro-APIs
  • Open Framework: The APIs are extensible - for example, Archive360’s archive functionality can be seamlessly embedded into independent software vendors’ applications and customer portals

Archive360 APIs are managed with a Zero-Trust framework that encompasses data threat surfaces, lifecycles, governance and more - a critical advantage in today’s operating environment. The company also adheres to an API-first philosophy: The APIs are consistent and reusable across the Archive360 platform and applications or portals accessing the data.

Customers and partners can learn more about the Archive360 Extend developer program by speaking with their account representative or registering to become an Archive360 partner.

Tanium Unveils Groundbreaking Integration with Microsoft Sentinel

Tanium | September 16, 2022

Tanium, the industry’s only provider of converged endpoint management (XEM), today announced the first of several powerful integrations between Microsoft and the Tanium XEM platform. The integration marks the latest expansion in a relationship that includes Tanium’s membership in the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA) and its availability in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. By making Tanium’s rich, real-time endpoint data accessible directly from the Sentinel console, the integration enables IT organizations to comprehensively detect, investigate, triage, prioritize, and remediate threats automatically, extending Sentinel’s advanced security and analytics capabilities, reducing the number of false positives that require disposition, and allowing security practitioners to better identify threats that might otherwise be missed. “Environments like ours are complex — there’s a great diversity of the types of devices and a large number of users accessing sensitive information,” said Mark Wantling, CIO the University of Salford. “It‘s a lot for my relatively small InfoSec team to manage, so I'm very excited about Tanium's integration with Microsoft Sentinel. Now my team can investigate, identify, triage, and remediate threats quickly without even leaving the Sentinel console, and that's a gamechanger.” The Tanium integration with Sentinel also enables active threat hunting. With Tanium’s detailed real-time data taken directly from the endpoint, security practitioners are better able to contextualize and correlate alerts sourced from both Microsoft and Tanium with almost no delay across an entire IT environment. They get accurate real-time data rather than information that may no longer be correct as a result of inherent latency. Additionally, Tanium gives incident responders the ability to take immediate action on alerts as they happen including quarantining a device, deploying a patch, or updating software, all from the Sentinel console. Customers benefit from proactive, predictive, automated management of their entire IT stack. Tanium + Sentinel gives Microsoft customers the ability to monitor and ensure their Microsoft’s solutions are highly available and operate at optimal health. With its real-time distributed architecture, Tanium can independently verify that all Microsoft services are deployed and up-to-date and validate that it is fully performant on every endpoint. If needed, customers can easily deploy a patch or quarantine a device in seconds to ensure they get the most out of their Microsoft investments. “We’re excited to continue to expand our relationship with Microsoft. “Already we work together to make Microsoft environments healthier and more secure by reducing risks for customers and protecting their investments in Azure, and soon we’ll be releasing a series of powerful integrations with Microsoft tools in addition to our Sentinel Integration.” Rob Jenks, SVP of corporate strategy at Tanium In addition to joining MISA, Tanium is available in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, an online store providing applications and services for use on Azure. Customers can purchase and provision Tanium directly from the marketplace and apply the purchase to their Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitments (MACC). Tune in now to hear Tanium CEO Orion Hindawi and Microsoft Corporate VP of Cybersecurity Ann Johnson discuss the vision for the partnership and how Tanium’s real-time data and control can enhance security, performance, and automation for today’s growing enterprises. You can also visit www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-gZC9M3lkE. About Tanium Tanium, the industry’s only provider of converged endpoint management (XEM), leads the paradigm shift in legacy approaches to managing complex security and technology environments. Only Tanium protects every team, endpoint, and workflow from cyber threats by integrating IT, Compliance, Security, and Risk into a single platform that delivers comprehensive visibility across devices, a unified set of controls, and a common taxonomy for a single shared purpose: to protect critical information and infrastructure at scale. Tanium has been named to the Forbes Cloud 100 list for seven consecutive years and ranks on Fortune’s list of the Best Large Workplaces in Technology. In fact, more than half of the Fortune 100 and the U.S. armed forces trust Tanium to protect people; defend data; secure systems; and see and control every endpoint, team, and workflow everywhere. That’s the power of certainty.

Keeper Security Announces StateRAMP Authorization

Keeper Security | December 08, 2022

Keeper Security, the leading provider of zero-trust and zero-knowledge cybersecurity software protecting passwords, secrets and connections, today announced that the company has obtained StateRAMP Authorization at the Moderate Impact Level for its Keeper Security Government Cloud (KSGC). The nationwide StateRAMP cybersecurity verification program promotes the adoption of secure cloud services across state and local governments by providing a standardized approach to security and risk assessment for cloud technologies. StateRAMP Authorization differentiates KSGC from its competitors as the best in class zero-trust and zero-knowledge security solution for state and local governments, as well as higher-educational institutions, to protect their passwords, data, and secrets. StateRAMP Authorization enables these governments and organizations to accelerate the adoption of cloud computing by creating transparent standards and processes for security authorizations. It allows them to leverage Keeper's password management and cybersecurity platform on an institution-wide scale with confidence that the solution meets strict standardized security requirements. KSGC is hosted in AWS GovCloud (US), designed to host sensitive data, regulated workloads, and address the most stringent security and compliance requirements. Keeper's StateRAMP Authorization comes on the heels of KSGC achieving FedRAMP Authorization at the Moderate Impact Level in August 2022. While StateRAMP Authorization typically takes two years to complete, KSGC's existing FedRAMP Authorization accelerated the certification. To receive FedRAMP Authorization, organizations must implement controls from 17 different control families that originate from National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication 800-53. Now, KSGC is the first and only FedRAMP and StateRAMP Authorized password management platform in the industry. "We are proud to bring Keeper's password management and cybersecurity platform to StateRAMP Authorized status, and thrilled to be the first FedRAMP and StateRAMP Authorized password management platform. "KSGC's StateRAMP Authorization underscores our dedication to the highest standards of internal security controls and encryption. Keeper is eager to help state and local governments and higher-educational institutions protect their digital assets from ransomware, data breaches and other password-related cyberattacks." Darren Guccione, CEO and Co-Founder of Keeper Security Keeper provides government agencies with a human-centric cybersecurity solution that promotes adoption of password best practices, like the use of MFA, by employees and contractors. Keeper also promotes secure collaboration with encrypted record sharing that allows system administrators to regulate privileged access to files, as well as masking credentials. Keeper's zero-knowledge system architecture provides the highest levels of security and privacy. Encryption and decryption of data always occurs locally on the user's device, and only the encrypted ciphertext is stored in KSGC. KSGC's FedRAMP and StateRAMP Authorizations follow a White House Executive Order mandating zero-trust architecture and strong encryption, along with a draft memorandum by the Office of Management and Budget and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency mandating all federal agencies adopt a zero-trust security architecture by 2024. The memorandum specifically calls out password security requirements that KSGC facilitates, including strong password policies, the removal of a deprecated requirement to require special characters and regular password rotation, and the ability to compare user passwords against weak and breached data. About Keeper Security Keeper Security is transforming the way organizations of all sizes secure their passwords, secrets and confidential information. Keeper's easy-to-use cybersecurity platform is built on a foundation of zero-trust and zero-knowledge security to protect every user on every device, while meeting the most stringent government security and compliance requirements. Keeper is SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certified, FIPS 140-2 validated, FedRAMP and StateRAMP Authorized. Trusted by federal agencies including the Departments of Justice and Energy, Keeper is the leader for best-in-class password management, secrets management, privileged access, secure remote access and encrypted messaging.
