Stress is meant to be good for us. Some say it helps us accomplish tasks more efficiently and is important for survival. Unfortunately, the modern lifestyle, likely shaped by the advent of technology, has caused the scale to tip heavily toward chronic stress. According to the American Psychological Association's 2017 research, 61% of respondents said work is a very or somewhat significant source of stress. Sadly, no industry is immune to the stress epidemic, including cybersecurity.
