PSC creates cybersecurity website for community

Protecting personal data online poses an increasing concern for anyone using computers these days.To help alleviate this, Pensacola State College has created a Cybersecurity Center website as a resource for students, businesses and the general public.“The website is easy to use and has a wealth of information for someone who doesn’t know where to start,” said Robert Pratten, assistant professor of Information Technology, Information Security and Cyber Forensics at PSC who created and operates the website.Four years in the making, the Cybersecurity Center is constantly updated and serves as a central point for information on cybersecurity programs, problems and possible solutions, Pratten points out.
